This 1 Oz Titanium coin pays tribute to the now well-known James Webb Telescope, a large infrared-optimized space telescope that is the successor to the Hubble Space Telescope. The reverse of the coin features the James Webb Space Telescope, which has already generated many stunning and groundbreaking images of the universe that will advance our understanding of the cosmos and inspire future generations of scientists and explorers. On the reverse is the logo of NASA on a spatial background and the inscription “JAMES WEBB SPACE TELESCOPE”. On the obverse of the coin, the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIC OF GHANA,” “2 CEDIS” and “TI.990 1OZ” – the fineness of the Titanium together with the weight of the coin.
