Stunning Long Ship Design

Obverse: A right-side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing her Royal Diamond Diadem graces the obverse. Designed by Jody Clark, it also shows the monarch donning earrings and a necklace. Her name and title, “QUEEN ELIZABETH II,” are inscribed on the rim, as are the name of the issuing territory, “ISLE OF MAN,” and the date, “2022.”

Reverse: An exquisite Viking long ship design features on the reverse. The ship is at full sail and is encircled by a rim frame with a Triskele motif. The Triskele is an ancient symbol of Ireland, Below the ship are inscriptions of the purity and weight of the coin, “AG .999 2 OUNCES,” as well as its face value, “ONE NOBLE.” This is a piedfort, which means that it is twice as thick as standard coins.
