Ancient symbolism and modern mysticism are embodied in this bewitching 2oz antiqued silver piece. The coin’s shape arises from two powerful symbols. The ouroboros portrays a snake eating its own tail to represent the regenerative cycle of life, enlightenment and renewal. A horizontal eight-shaped symbol was first used mathematically in the 17th century to denote the concept of the endless and unlimited. A line that never ends, it is commonly known as the infinity symbol.
Portraying a snake consuming its tail, the antiqued piece is further enhanced with variegated tinting along the snake’s head and body. Also included in the design is The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin is housed in a clear display case which comes in an illustrated shipper.
