Kurt Wenner, born in Ann Arbor Michigan USA, is an artist best known for his realistic street painting and chalk murals that utilize a 3D projection called anamorphosis. Anamorphosis is a distorted projection that requires the viewer to occupy a specific vantage point, use special devices, or both in combination to observe a recognizable image. The technique is used in painting, photography, sculptures, toys and movie special effects.
